Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data we collect when you visit beeutech.com, why we collect it, and how you stay in control of it. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the DPDP Rules, 2025.
- Effective: 6 October 2026
- Last updated: 6 October 2026
- Questions: contact@beeutech.com
The short version
- Browsing is anonymous to us. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used. We don't use them to identify you.
- We only keep what you send us. If you fill in a form, we keep those details to reply and follow up. Nothing else is stored.
- We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, data brokers or anyone else.
- You're in control. Ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to contact@beeutech.com.
Who we are
BEEU TECH is the brand name of BEEU INFOTECH LIMITED, a company registered in India with its office at 13-0508, Plot No: IIB 3258, Newtown, Kolkata 700161. When this policy says "BEEU TECH", "we" or "us", it means this company.
Under the DPDP Act, we are the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through beeutech.com. That means we decide why and how that data is used, and we are responsible for it. You are the Data Principal: the person the data is about.
We also operate through BEEU INFOTECH INC. in the United States and BEEU INFOTECH FZCO in the UAE. They may help answer enquiries from their regions and follow this policy when they do.
What we collect
We keep this deliberately small. There are two ways personal data reaches us.
1. When you send us something
Our contact form, enquiry forms and downloadable guides ask for:
| Data | Why we ask |
|---|---|
| Full name | So we know who we're talking to |
| Work email | To reply to you and send what you asked for |
| Company name | To understand your context before we reply |
| Your message, and anything else you choose to share | To answer your question properly |
| Campaign tags (UTM source, medium, campaign) | To see which page or campaign brought you to us. These describe the link you clicked, not you. |
| Your consent and when you gave it | To keep a record that you agreed to this policy, as the law requires |
If you email or call us directly, we keep what you send so we can respond.
2. When you browse the site
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity collect usage data such as pages visited, time on page, clicks and scrolls, device and browser type, approximate location (city or country), and how you arrived at the site. Clarity also records anonymised replays of how pages are used, with text you type masked by default. Section 4 covers this in detail.
We do not collect sensitive data such as financial details, government ID numbers, health information or passwords through this website. Please don't include them in a form.
Why we use it
We use personal data only for these purposes:
- Replying to your enquiry and continuing the conversation you started
- Sending the guide, report or resource you asked for
- Understanding which pages are useful and fixing ones that aren't
- Keeping the website secure and working
- Meeting our legal obligations
Our legal basis is your consent, which you give when you tick the consent box on a form or choose to send us information. Where you contact us directly, we rely on the "legitimate use" allowed under Section 7 of the DPDP Act: you shared the data with us for a clear purpose, and we use it only for that purpose.
We will not use your data for a new purpose without telling you and, where needed, asking first. We don't use it for automated decisions about you, and we don't build advertising profiles.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use only analytics cookies, set by two tools:
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Tells one visitor apart from another, without identifying them | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Keeps track of the current session | 2 years |
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Remembers a random visitor ID across visits | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Links page views into a single visit | 1 day |
CLID, MUID | Microsoft Clarity | Recognise a returning browser | 1 year |
We don't use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.
- Opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out add-on.
- Read how each tool handles data: Google Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers (Data Processors) who run parts of the site for us: Google (analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), and our website hosting and email providers. They process data only on our instructions, under contract.
- Our group companies in the US and UAE, when your enquiry is best handled by them.
- Authorities, only when Indian law or a valid legal order requires it.
You can ask us for the names of every Data Fiduciary and Data Processor we have shared your data with. See Your rights.
Data outside India
Google and Microsoft may store and process analytics data on servers outside India, including in the United States. Our US and UAE teams may also see enquiry details if they help reply to you.
Section 16 of the DPDP Act allows this, except to countries the Government of India restricts. We will follow any such restriction as soon as it is notified.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it for, then we delete it.
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Form and email enquiries | Up to 24 months after our last conversation. If we start working together, it moves under that contract. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will. |
| Google Analytics 4 data | Kept by Google for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically |
| Microsoft Clarity data | Session replays for about 30 days; summary data for up to 13 months |
| Consent records and basic logs | At least 1 year, as the DPDP Rules require, then deleted |
We don't store browsing data on our own servers.
How we protect it
BEEU TECH is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security. In practice, that means:
- The site runs on HTTPS, so data is encrypted on its way to us
- Only people who need enquiry data to do their job can see it
- Access is logged and reviewed
- Our service providers are held to the same standard by contract
If a personal data breach ever affects you, we will tell you without delay: what happened, what it means for you, and what we're doing about it. We will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
Your rights
The DPDP Act gives you these rights. Using them is free.
- Know what we holdGet a summary of your personal data, how we use it, and who we've shared it with.
- Correct or update itFix anything inaccurate, or fill in what's missing.
- Have it deletedAsk us to erase your data once it's no longer needed, unless the law says we must keep it.
- Withdraw consentChange your mind at any time. It's as easy as giving consent: one email. We then stop using your data.
- Raise a grievanceComplain to us, and get a proper answer. See the next section.
- Nominate someoneName a person who can use these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
To use any of these rights, email contact@beeutech.com from the address you used with us. We may ask a question or two to confirm it's really you.
Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
Your duties
The DPDP Act also asks Data Principals to give accurate information, not to impersonate anyone, and not to file false or frivolous complaints.
Complaints and grievances
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, tell us first. We'd rather fix it.
- Write to us at contact@beeutech.com with "Data protection grievance" in the subject line.
- We acknowledge it and look into it. We aim to resolve most requests within 30 days, and never later than the 90 days the DPDP Rules allow.
- Still not satisfied? You can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once our process is complete.
Children
This website is for businesses and working professionals. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site and, where the law needs it, ask for your consent again.
This policy is in English. If you'd like it in Hindi, Bengali or another language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India, ask us and we'll provide it.
